About This Class

Bryan Kest leads a rich, 69-minute dynamic practice that begins in child's pose to establish deep, conscious breathing — the throughline for every movement that follows. The class builds through several rounds of a six-pose sun salutation flow (forward fold, standing rise, plank, cobra, down dog) before layering in warrior-style lunges and adding one-handed down dog variations for shoulder mobility. The heart of the class is an extended floor sequence "down low": deep hip flexor and pigeon-style stretches (arm inside the front leg, elbow variations), quadricep and Achilles stretches with a quad-grab backbend, sphinx pose, forearm plank with lateral hip dips for deep core engagement, locust-style back-body lifts with interlaced fingers, slow cobra pulses through full range of motion, prone shoulder-opening rolls, and a demanding half-pigeon spinal twist. Both sides are worked symmetrically. The class closes with a wide-legged forward fold, a knees-to-chest compression, a full-body squeeze-and-release, and an extended savasana. Throughout, Bryan frames the practice around mindfulness, self-care, non-judgment, and breath-movement synchronization, making it as meditative as it is physical.
