About This Class

This meditation, framed as the third in a three-part series, is rooted in karma yoga — the yoga of selfless service and uncompromising generosity. Bryan Kest guides students to take the warmth cultivated in gratitude practice and radiate it outward: visualizing healing light enveloping the planet, picturing angry people smiling, lonely people embraced, and hungry people fed. The practice can be done through visualization, feeling, or prayer — whatever form best channels the desire for universal upliftment. Bryan emphasizes that compassion, like a muscle, must be actively worked to reach its fullest capacity, and that consistent repetition of these meditations literally rewires the mind toward greater happiness, contentment, and harmony. The session closes with an extended savasana-style rest — lying on the back for five to ten minutes or longer — allowing all the layers of the practice (observation, gratitude, compassion) to synthesize and settle deeply. The overarching message is one of planetary and personal transformation through inner work.

Beautiful! If this was taught in public schools we’d live in a more peaceful world. Namaste ????
