About This Class

This full-body flow class with Bryan Kest is built around one central philosophy: keeping your breath deep, fluid, and free is more important than any pose. Opening in child's pose with a breath-based meditation, the class progresses through multiple rounds of Surya Namaskar (sun salutations) that steadily build heat, weaving in chair pose, crescent lunge, core twists, and low lunge hip-opener variations. The mid-section features one-legged standing sequences — including warrior-style airplane balance, Bruce Lee Asana (standing side leg lift), and extended hand-to-foot balancing — that challenge coordination, stamina, and equanimity simultaneously. Back-body work on the stomach (locust variations and bow pose) opens the chest and shoulders. The class winds down with a wide-legged forward fold, standing side stretches, a supine figure-four hip stretch, and spinal twists before settling into a silent, breath-focused Savasana. Bryan consistently encourages modification, gentle effort, and finding "sweet spots," making this accessible to a wide range of practitioners while still delivering a thorough full-body workout.

That was so awesome. Another favorite. Thank you so much. Challenging on upper body. A true body flossing. Original yet old school – a nice hybrid.

Definitely simple; definitely active! A slow, gentle start, followed by a long, gradual build, to a “is this still going?” crescendo, completed with a superb cool-down before Svasana. Thanks for this sleeper/sneaker of a practice, B.K.!
