About This Class
This vigorous yet mindfulness-driven morning flow class with Bryan Kest opens on the ground in Child's Pose and Down Dog before building methodically through a multi-round Sun-Salutation-style sequence of Cobra, Plank, and Down Dog. The class then advances into a creative upper-body strengthening series that weaves Dolphin, knee-to-elbow core work, side arm balances, Wild Thing (Flip Dog), and Crow/tricep-balance variations into a flowing sequence on both sides. Standing work includes Crescent Lunge, Prayer Twist, Warrior, Twisting Triangle, and a wide-legged forward fold with arm-wrap. Hip mobility is deeply addressed through Lizard-style hip openers and Splits (Hanumanasana) on both sides. The class peaks with Bridge and optional Wheel (Urdhva Dhanurasana), then winds down through supine spinal twists and a philosophically rich Savasana (Corpse Pose). Bryan consistently instructs students to match effort to personal degree, keep the neck soft, and maintain deep, fluid breathing as the primary measure of doing the class "perfectly."

Such a lovely practice, thank you!

I loved this class. I always like the opportunity to do hannuman. In fact, Bryan did alot of my favorite poses – wheel etc, crunge, cringe! loved it.

Challenging but rewarding. Able to go to and enjoy sweetness of my edge. Thanks!

Ahhh, yes, the ancient Flipdogasana.

good basic stretches and openers; a little less flow and heat than other sessions

Really lovely strong but accessible standing flow. Also lovely to do wheel – as this doesn’t appear very often in Bryan’s classes. Thank you.

Sweet and challenging funky flow today! Even with some hip soreness from who knows what, these hip stretches will hopefully do the trick. Loved the camel/wheel pose too! Great class!
