About This Class

Bryan Kest leads a richly layered dynamic flow that opens with Child's Pose and breath-centering before moving into a progressive warm-up of Down Dog variations, Cobra sequences, and plank-to-chin-touch strength work. The standing and balancing sequence is the heart of the class, weaving together one-legged balances, Crescent Lunge, twisting lunges, Warrior variations, Flip Dog, and figure-four bent-knee balancing — all woven with detailed cues to lengthen limbs, keep breath free, and tune into personal sensation rather than pushing for depth. The upper body is challenged repeatedly through plank holds and chin-to-ground lowering, while the hips, hamstrings, and glutes receive sustained attention in straddle forward folds, supine twists, and reclined leg stretches. The class culminates in Plow/Legs-over-head, Shoulderstand (framed as "the king or queen of all yoga poses"), a Boat-style core hold, supine spinal twists, and an extended Savasana anchored in a guided gratitude meditation. Bryan consistently reminds students to self-regulate, modify freely, and treat every pose as a question answered by sensation.

As a child of 2 virgos, any routine that messes with them is gonna be a favorite lol jk… but this was awesome! I’ve been loving all the ones Bryan has been doing recently with the wild thing and those other strong arm poses. Thank you!

excellent practice of moving away from the “spoon-feeding” of misinformation and using your individuality and uniqueness, coupled with your calm reserve, as a platform to make optimal decisions. no more “following the leader”! yay. my wisdom is my leader! Thank you for the reminder of personal yoga , not generic yoga.
