About This Class

This 90-minute class is designed as a full Friday wind-down, opening in Child's Pose and building methodically through two distinct Sun-Salutation-style flows that add complexity with each round — Cobra, Down Dog, Crescent Lunge, Plank, and eventually Bow Pose and Shoulderstand. Bryan layers in balance challenges (one-legged tabletop, Supreme Balancing squat, Archer/Barakapotasana), core work (boat variations, V-sit spreads), standing side bends, and seated Baddha Konasana hip openers throughout. The spine is addressed from every angle: forward folds, multiple Cobras, a full Bow Pose, Plow, and Shoulderstand reverse the day's gravitational load. The class closes with supine twists, rock-to-seated, and an extended Savasana anchored by a guided gratitude meditation. Bryan's philosophy — breath as meditation, body as partner, gentleness over force — is woven into every cue. Modifications are consistently offered; knee issues are the one explicit caution raised at the very start.

Great. Focus more on upper body. No leg balances or lunges (except the sun salutation 2). Nice one
