About This Class
Byron leads a creative, movement-rich flow centered on the theme of circularity — from tabletop hip circles and sweeping drop-step leg arcs between poses, to eagle-to-half-moon unwinds and twisted half-moon transitions. The class opens on the back with thread-the-needle hip warm-ups, crossed-leg core holds, and a yogi squat before moving through downward dog, three-legged dog variations, crescent lunge, and side-angle/reverse-warrior sequences on both sides. Signature circular transitions replace conventional vinyasa footwork, challenging coordination, spatial awareness, and hip mobility. Later standing sequences layer eagle pose into half moon and twisting half moon, demanding balance, hip stability, and focused breathing. The floor closes with bridge pose, happy baby, a bound ankle forward fold, supine twists, and savasana. Throughout, Byron emphasizes breath quality — receptive inhale, expressive exhale — and Ujjayi breath, weaving in reflections on yoga philosophy, fascia, and mindful finesse over force.
