About This Class
Bryan Kest guides students through three layered warm-up flows that grow steadily more complex, beginning with Child's Pose and Down Dog, advancing through standing folds, Cobra, Crescent Lunge, and Warrior-based twists, then culminating in an elaborate sequence that adds leg lifts, side-body stretches, Warrior twist variations, airplane balancing, bent-knee balancing, and low-lunge twists. Floor work includes Bow Pose, Locust, Boat Pose with core rotation, a bridge-like tabletop lift, and reclined twists. Throughout, Bryan emphasizes breath as the primary focal point — deep, smooth, nasal — framing the practice as a moving meditation. He consistently invites students to moderate intensity personally, discourages comparison, and closes with a seated gratitude meditation and Savasana. The class touches the full back body, hips, hamstrings, spine, shoulders, and core while delivering a cardiovascular stimulus through continuous breath-linked movement.

Noticing warm up sequences paced a little slow…training the breath to follow that flow. By the third warm up, the breath definitely got a bit choppier as things got way more challenging on those leg balancing poses. Gotta love those!! Mil gracias Bryan and Melissa!

Thank you, Bryan, I have thoroughly enjoyed your Corona-induced practices, for which I am grateful. Even though your guided, prolonged, leg-balancing routines are frequently beyond my capabilities, I find enjoyment within my own explorative creations. Light and Peace.
