About This Class
Bryan Kest leads a vigorous 70-minute flow class in which deep, uninterrupted nasal breathing is the central discipline — framed as the gateway to a quiet mind and genuine relaxation. The class opens in child's pose to establish breath awareness before moving into a progressive series of sun salutations (Salutation A and Salutation B) with cobra and down dog. The intensity builds through three rounds of increasingly complex flows incorporating crescent lunge, core twists, forearm drops on the inside of the lunge, one-armed down dog balance, a side-plank-like arm balance, camel pose (including a one-handed variation), chair pose on tiptoes, and a prone locust-inspired lift. Core strength is addressed through boat pose with rotation, leg lowers, and reverse table-top hip lifts. The class winds down with bound-angle forward fold, seated wide-leg forward bend, supine twists, and a knees-to-chest squeeze before a seated gratitude meditation and savasana. Bryan encourages constant self-regulation — offering knee-down, fist, or forearm modifications throughout — and closes with an extended gratitude practice and savasana.

I had my EarPods in and could hear all kinds of bird songs in the background during savasana. The class flew by, it was nice to end with some meditation. Mahalo Bryan!

Great class. It’s such a pleasure to be reconnected on this platform. As always, your insight and way of being is a great guide to keep going deeper into my practice. Thank you!

I just need to report: I was on high alert and you didn’t get me with the “lower down slow…your right knee…” this time.
