About This Class

This dynamic 30-minute flow is purpose-built to prepare the body for Warrior Three (Virabhadrasana III). The class opens supine with strap-assisted single-leg stretches to mobilize the hamstrings and inner thighs, then progresses through core-awakening work using a block between the thighs. A strong movement thread of Plank–Down Dog transitions fires up the core and hip stabilizers before Locust pose builds back-body strength. One-legged Down Dog and Plank variations train the outer-hip and inner-thigh hugging action central to Warrior Three balance. Standing sequences move through Low Lunge, a preparatory Warrior Three "feel-out," Side Angle, Half Moon, Eagle Pose, and Crescent, each layering on the same cues — root the big toe, firm outer hips, hug inner thighs, draw the belly in — until full Warrior Three is attempted from a tip-toe transition. The class closes with seated cross-legged forward folds, supine Happy Baby/Happy Cow hip openers, and spinal twists, inviting a final Savasana. A block and strap are used throughout.
