About This Class

This class opens with a grounding breath focus and moves methodically through three escalating rounds of sun salutations, beginning with a classic Salutation A, adding chair pose and crescent lunge for Salutation B, and culminating in a full third flow that layers in three-legged dog, standing side bends, crescent lunge with a core twist, low lunge with forearms inside the foot, and a twisting down-dog bind. Between and after the flowing sequences, the instructor introduces longer holds — chair pose, tiptoeing balance, crescent lunge, and forearm-inside-lunge — to deepen mobility and build stamina. A notable mid-class segment targets balance and posterior chain strength with one-legged down dog, "awkward airplane," and a reclined quad stretch/bind in plank. The class closes with a wide-legged seated forward fold, supine figure-four hip openers, supine spinal twists, and a brief Savasana with a breath-focused meditation cue. Throughout, the instructor emphasizes finding your personal edge, breathing freely, and never working through pain — making the class accessible across experience levels while still being genuinely challenging.

Wonderful vibrant class! Worked out the deep muscles of the body. Old school – ???? When there is such deep rich content, a beautiful wrapper is not needed … Thank you, B&M!

Very lovely long slow flow through the three salutations. Very safe, strong and perfect after a hectic hectic day. Fantastic evening flow.

I love every class! But I loved how this one started pretty intense but I was still able to go at my own pace. I’ve done it twice now. Feel better, Brian! Sending you healing energy while you recover from your injury!

Since I did this class to my own degree, it was perfect. I am so grateful to you all! I feel terrific.

Whew… wonderful cardio flow. Missed doing these 3 warm up sequences … it’s been a while. Def challenge to the stamina, but loved seeing the dew of sweat on the yoga mat. Totally invigorating on a cold morning!

I thoroughly enjoyed the little bit of banter between you and Melissa. She has to be the greatest yoga model of all time!!!! It was a nice class physically and pretty amusing too. Thanks Bryan and Melissa 🙂

this forearms down for a millisecond and bounce back up is purely detrimental UNLESS someone is extremely warm – which Bryan – we are not here in this sequence – not cool bro – I am pretty advanced and I would hate to see “grandmas” / “omas” you always speak of – like Rudy Mettia says – you wouldn’t teach like that if you had to do it yourself – but then maybe you would as a 45+ yr practicioner – phooey
