About This Class
This 69-minute dynamic flow class with Bryan Kest is built around the philosophy of gentleness, breath awareness, and listening to the body. Starting in Child's Pose to establish meditative focus, the class progresses through Down Dog, Cobra, and a flowing sequence of Cat-Cow-inspired leg sweeps that warm the spine and shoulders. The mid-section introduces standing balances and strength challenges — including single-leg variations, crescent lunge, twisted lunge, and an "awkward airplane" pose — that demand both physical engagement and inner calm. Deep hip openers (low lunge, pigeon-adjacent shapes, quad stretches) and a spread-leg forward bend address the hips, hamstrings, glutes, and lower back thoroughly. A core sequence lying on the back — scissor legs, boat-like holds, and a full-body stretch — rounds out the muscular work before a supine twist and an extended Savasana anchored by a guided gratitude meditation. Throughout, Bryan consistently reminds students to separate effort from strain, keep the breath free, and treat the practice as a conversation with their own body. The class is ideal for practitioners seeking to release full-body tension, improve hip and hamstring mobility, and reduce stress through movement and mindfulness.

I love this practice. Very doable. When I was 50 I could do all those pushups on my toes. At 72 I can still do most all of those pushups with my knees down. And I still laugh at everyone of Bryan’s jokes. Thank you for another goodn’
