About This Class
Bryan Kest leads this 71-minute dynamic flow with his signature blend of mindful movement and candid philosophical commentary, consistently threading themes of stress reduction, ego awareness, and self-compassion through every physical cue. The class opens in a seated/kneeling warm-up before moving into downward facing dog, tabletop leg reaches, and a series of cobra/plank/down-dog vinyasa rounds. The bulk of the class is built around a long, layered standing sequence on each side: deep lunge variations (crescent, side angle, triangle, core-muscle lunge/crunch, balancing lunge, airplane balance, bent-knee balance), hip-opening transitions from down dog, and quad-opening half-splits on the floor. A brief reclined sequence follows, including a spread-leg groin opener, supine twists, and a knees-to-chest wind-down. Throughout, Bryan emphasizes breathing deeply and freely, finding a personal "somewhere between too much and not enough," and treating the practice as an opportunity for gentle self-care rather than performance. Props like blocks are offered as options, and modifications (fists instead of palms, dropping to knees, exiting poses early) are consistently encouraged.

Strong standing sequence for quads, glutes and hip flexors. Just brilliant after a day sitting down. Had to modify because aforesaid areas were feeling it. Saving this to favourites. Loved the soap story. Thanks for sharing

Lovely balanced flow of stretch, strength and balance. But my favorite pose of this class was the lesson on questioning our conditioning and attachments. You always make it very entertaining Bryan ! My hubby subscribes to your “non soap” method too… how funny is that:) Always thankful for you all!

A nice challenge to the body and ego; left lunge crunge was left out – a blessing in disguise. Thank you!
