About This Class
This energizing flow class with Byron de Marsé centers on squat variations — high squat, low squat, and yogi squat — woven throughout a rhythmic sequence that starts on the belly, moves through Sphinx, Cobra, and Chaturanga, and builds progressively into standing work. The practice layers wide-legged forward folds, wrist stretches, lunges with backbend pulses, Warrior Two, Reverse Triangle, Extended Triangle, and bound variations before arriving at Eagle Pose. The floor portion features deep hip openers including Pigeon Pose, a deer-pose-style twist, and a supine-style pigeon with a quad stretch. Throughout, Byron cues breath as a tool for shifting into the parasympathetic nervous system, emphasizing natural movement over rigid alignment. The class closes with a seated forward fold, Savasana, and a final Om — making it a complete practice for anyone looking to open the hips, lengthen the legs and side body, and build functional lower-body mobility.

Wonder class – very creative pose variations. The class is not super active but it is very strong (on the legs especially, the title is perfect). It was a little difficult to follow instructions though, especially on the first rounds, I had to look at the screen often. But I think the second time doing this it will be just sweet. Thank you Byron.

Thanks, Byron! I love your creative flows. I feel terrific… that crazy full body stretch at the end with leg one way, arm the other, felt nice.

Should be named, ‘Leg’s Day’. Great flow with a sweet hip back stretch at the end. Thanks Byron!
