About This Class

This class opens in child's pose with an extended grounding sequence designed to cultivate a calm, present mind-state before movement begins. From tabletop, students flow through sun-bird (Sunbird Pose) with elbow-to-knee core pulses, sphinx, baby cobras, and downward facing dog, gradually building spinal warmth. The standing portion features yogi squat, standing forward fold, Urdhva Hastasana, and a full warrior series on each side — Warrior One with a deep revolved variation, Warrior Two, extended side angle, and reverse warrior in a flowing sequence. Balance challenges arrive through standing splits, Warrior Three (airplane arms), and crescent lunge twists. Hip flexors and hamstrings are targeted in a prolonged low-lunge lizard-style stretch with options to bind. A belly-down back-strengthening sequence (cobra, locust-inspired lift) precedes the cool-down. Floor work includes bent-knee boat pose, crow-prep hip lifts, happy baby, supine spinal twists, and a final Savasana. The instructor consistently invites breath as the anchor, offers prop modifications throughout, and frames the practice as an opportunity to dissolve tension and arrive in stillness.

This is a strong class with strong poses which are held for a little while and so it was challenging and enjoyable, also the tone and feelings were soothing. It took a little long between the left and right side, so that for me it lost the flow. But I enjoyed the sensations and awaking all across the body

This was a great and sweaty 45 minutes. I think it was more difficult than dynamics usually are but I welcomed the challenge as well as some unique alternatives ❤️
