About This Class

Dan leads a 30-minute gentle class with a lighthearted, encouraging tone, using a yoga block as the central prop throughout. The session opens standing with heel raises and Jockey Pose to wake up the feet, calves, and quads, then moves through flowing forward folds with twists, side-to-side lateral lunge walks, and Warrior One on both sides to build leg strength and hip mobility. A brief floor sequence includes cat-cow, Down Dog, baby cobra, and contralateral limb lifts on the belly. The class finishes seated with Baddha Konasana, gentle twists, and an extended Savasana with block-supported supine twists to ease the hips and inner groin. Dan repeatedly emphasizes going only as far as feels right, adapting with bent knees or a wall for balance, and breathing softly through the nose. The extended Savasana is framed as deep, concentrated rest — distinct from sleep — making this class equally suitable for winding down as for a gentle morning practice.

Slow motion sweet. Great for end of day or even an afternoon break. Thank you both!
