About This Class
This fascia-focused flow moves through a carefully layered sequence designed to hydrate and open connective tissue from the feet all the way to the thoracic spine. Byron opens with seated hip-rotation drills in Sukhasana to mobilize the femoral head, followed by ankle and foot work (toe-lift drills from hands-and-knees) to address scar tissue and elasticity in the lower legs. A series of Sun Salutation-style Vinyasas builds heat before transitioning into crescent-pose fascia bouncing to target the hip flexors, wide-legged forward folds with heel-shifting to load the hamstring fascia, and Goddess Pose pulses for the inner thighs. The standing sequence includes Warrior Two with a figure-eight thoracic rotation in Reverse Warrior, Parsvakonasana with dynamic spinal twists, Side Plank, and Warrior Three balance flirts with pulsing leg lifts. Floor work features Salabhasana, Bow Pose with a push-pull elbow action, and Dhanurasana (dynamic kicking variation). The class closes with Baddha Konasana, a dynamic seated forward fold, Bridge Pose, and Savasana — leaving students feeling both wrung out and opened up.
