About This Class

This richly layered flow opens in Sukhasana with an extended exploration of the "eyeball Asana" — rotating the gaze inward and upward to the third eye — establishing an internal witness that the instructor returns to throughout class. From seated pranayama, students move through cat-cow and tabletop balancing before a progressively demanding standing sequence: crescent pose, Warrior Two, reverse warrior, open-arm twist, and half moon (Ardha Chandrasana), each side anchored by the ongoing cue to feel the tug-of-war between cow (chest forward) and cat (belly in). Side plank (Vasisthasana) variations, knee-to-nose core work, and handstand-prep in a shortened downward dog challenge upper-body and core endurance. The floor sequence includes Navasana (boat and low boat), supine pigeon and figure-four hip openers, supine twists, Baddha Konasana, Halasana (plow), and optional shoulder stand, before closing with bridge and optional full wheel backbends. A chakra-based guided meditation in Sukhasana and a final Savasana complete the practice. The instructor consistently cues engaged bathroom/mula bandha muscles, flat-palm high-plank integrity, deep nose breathing with lingering inhales and exhales, and soft facial muscles throughout — making mindful breath and internal body awareness the defining throughline of the entire session.

Awareness of all the intricate activities going on in my body as I move through this practice is like a flower opening petals. I love the way Temitope uses visuals walking me through my body. Thank you. I am alive and connected.
