About This Class
This class is a comprehensive core connector journey that begins on the floor with pelvic floor activation and supine twists, then progressively layers in more demanding core challenges: boat pose variations (bent-knee and straight-leg), reclined twisting holds, sunbird, and locust progressions. The standing sequence weaves together Warrior Two, Triangle, Half Moon, and Warrior Three with conscious transitions that demand belly tone, pelvic floor engagement, and steady breath throughout. Side plank dips and one-legged Down Dog hip-opening sequences develop lateral core stability, while bridge pose variations and supine hamstring stretches close the practice with purposeful spinal articulation. The instructor consistently cues the connection between pelvic floor, low belly, and low back, making this class especially valuable for building functional core strength and improving overall postural stability. The class ends with a grounding Savasana and mindfulness reflection.

This class never gets old. Revisited it Jan 2026. Steve’s teaching expertise just shines through, in this class and really all of his classes. Love the focus on strength with alignment and stretch. Never a generic flow class here, I can always expect new and exciting from Steve

The cues really got me in areas of the body, I usually don’t focus on. I love this class.
