About This Class
This 30-minute Yin Yoga class with Travis Eliot guides practitioners through a series of long-held floor-based poses — each sustained for roughly one and a half to two minutes — designed to deeply nourish the connective tissues, fascia, and meridian channels of the body. The sequence moves through both sides of the body symmetrically, opening the hips extensively via pigeon pose, reclined hero, and double seated pigeon, then progressing to inner-leg and hamstring work with Janu Sirsasana, seated straddle, and seated forward fold, before finishing with a supported bridge and Savasana. Travis frames the practice as a deliberate antidote to the busyness and overactivity of modern Western culture, encouraging stillness, inward attention, and patient observation of sensation. Props such as blocks, bolsters, and blankets are actively welcomed throughout to support accessibility. The overall tone is meditative, restorative, and deeply grounding — suitable for athletes seeking recovery as well as anyone needing to slow down and replenish.

finding the cracking voice super lame and contrived rockstar type crud, still a typically great session indicative of Travis

After being sick with COVID, this was my first class I took for my recovery. Deep and slow stretch really healed me, and reminded of the need for Yin, staying away from western “faster” “more” norm. Thank you Travis!
Victoria

Perfect. Thank you. I always need a reminder that it’s useful and valid to slow way down. Loved this.
