About This Class
This dynamic flow class with Tracey Goldman uses breath as a constant anchor to cultivate what she calls "inner calm" — the ability to stay centered and resilient under physical and life challenges. The sequence opens in Child's Pose and Downward Facing Dog before moving through standing work including Chair Pose (with tippy-toe variations), Crescent Pose, and twisting Crescent variations that open the chest and side body. Single-leg balances progress into Warrior III and a standing figure-four (ankle-on-thigh) pose that doubles as a deep hip opener. Floor work includes forearm plank, Sphinx-like Cobra, prone quad stretches, dolphin-style downward dog, seated forward folds, Pigeon Pose on both sides, Happy Baby, a supine V-shape, and gentle supine twists before closing in Savasana. Throughout, the instructor consistently frames physical difficulty as training for mental equanimity, returning repeatedly to long, smooth nasal breath as the tool for staying calm. Blocks are offered as optional support, and wrist-sensitive practitioners are directed to forearm variations.

A little strong, a little balancing, a little length – lovely 30 minute practice
