Former professional musician Mike Nader first began practicing yoga in 2004 in order to help his posture and loosen his shoulders. What began as a physical practice quickly evolved into a mental practice, keeping him sane while he was on tour. After leaving the music industry, Mike went back to school to become an occupational therapist, giving him an extensive background in healthcare that includes mental health, orthopedics, and pediatrics. Always looking to develop and expand his practice, Mike is currently a student of Para Yoga founder Yogarupa Rod Stryker and continues to deepen his understanding of the Yogic and Tantric traditions.
His classes are well-rounded and meant to take care of the entire body and mind, including strength, flexibility, balance, calm, stability, and peace. He often teaches yoga and meditation at hospitals and health conferences in order to help others benefit from yoga, no matter their physical or mental condition. Mike’s style of yoga is dynamic and therapeutic and perfect for students of all levels.
