Class Descriptions
Level 1-2: This class is for anybody and everybody.
Level 3-4: This is a private class. Permission is needed prior to day of attendance.
All Levels: This class is for anybody and everybody.
Arm Balances, Level 2: A full-body power vinyasa flow with extra playtime spent on arm balance postures and techniques.
YOGAthletica: All-level classes for those who like to learn something new every day.

Taking Your First Class with Bryan Kest at His Studio
If you're attending a Bryan Kest class in Santa Monica, please keep in mind that they can get crowded, so you'll want to show up 20-30 minutes early, to make sure you get a spot.
As a beginner, you're welcome to any of the Level 1-2 classes on the Power Yoga schedule. They can get hot and sweaty (but only from student-generated heat, the room is never artificially heated). Don't worry, the emphasis, especially with Bryan's Power Yoga, is to go at your own pace, according to how YOU feel. This is the real yoga, starting to learn how to listen to yourself, so you know how to work with your body and feelings.
There's metered parking in the area, so bring quarters. Remember that Bryan likes to take the full hour-and-a-half or more for class, so fill up your meter! If you need a mat, there are used mats for rent for $2 per class. However, it is strongly recommended that you invest in your own mat as it is much more sanitary.
Wear comfortable clothing. Students often find it helpful to wear a top that stays close to the body, so it does not cover your face when your torso is inverted, like in a forward bend.
The class is taught on donation-basis, donation meaning "the act of giving." At the end of class, there is a box provided near the door for your donation, which is suggested at $12 per class.
